March 18th 2004 - Recent problems with domains
Lately we have had a lot of problems with the two St. Thomas pages here at stthomas1976.com and at stthomas.no. The latter was down for over two weeks, and the first remains down and will most likely stay down until the beginning of April. First of all we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, and thank everyones for their interest in what we are doing here. You never realize how many people care about what you do until you take it away from them...

To deal with the fact that stthomas1976.com is not currently accessible, a new domain has been created, stthomas1976.net. At the moment this serves as the place for the St. Thomas fanpage which you are currently reading. When the .com domain is up and running again, this .net domain will be a backup resource and will also be used to host larger files audio and video files that we have been unable to put up earlier because of storage space problems.

stthomas.no should work properly within a day or two, and those who have used the forums should know that everything has been backed up and saved. The forums will be put back up within a couple of days. Thanks to Dave Werver for help in this unfortunate situation.

The problems we have had with the pages have also affected e-mails, so anyone who has tried to send Thomas e-mails about merchandise for the last two weeks have not gotten through to him, and that e-mail will remain down until the .com domain is up and running again due to the way those two domains are set up. E-mail to the .com domain has been lost for the last two weeks, and is still not working, please direct any mails concerning this page to webmaster@stthomas1976.net, thank you.
